This is not a debate, only an honest dialogue. Like every other race and religion, Muslims and Jews have good and bad people. This man rambles like crazy but do you have to be an anti-Semite if you merely criticise the actions of some Jews. Arabs are semites too. If a group of people is above criticism, don't they assume the right to act above the law? Serious and informative answers only, please.

The word Semite has been hijacked to mean Israeli or Jew. You are correct that that is not its true meaning.

hitler thought only blond, blue eyed people (arians) were fit to run things (or even live)....yet he had dark hair and brown eyes......so yes, he could.

however, i'd like to know your definition of semite.....not being an expert, i believe it normally refers to the Jewish religion more than the region. The jewish are one of the few cultures where religion and race are one in the same. For instance I would be a german christian, or at least my ancestors were....but you rarely hear a Jewish person giving a background/race...they are Jewish, both in race and religion....therefore I can see how the word semite could originally have been linked with a region, more than a people....but through time and use, it has morphed to mean only the Jewish people. Thus the Iranian President, does not have semite blood, in the popular meaning of the term...only the classical, which is no longer relevant.

Any one who calls for the "death of all Jews on muslim land" or tells stories of "zionist apes" is most definitely anti-Semitic.

Anyone who defends his depthless bigotry is also anti-Semitic. I've looked at your other questions and answers, and can safely say that you can try to justify your support any way you want, but at the end of the day, you're still looking at British islamic fundamentalist propaganda websites, then posting ridiculous questions on yahoo...

The mas is plain crazy, pro-terrorist.....he must be destroy!

It's above me that someone still has dreams of power while ignoring the rest of the international community in these time and day.

What you brilliantly explain is true. Muslims and Jews are to tight togehter by history, culture, genes....

Iranian president, Hugo Chavez, Taliban regime, Kim-Jong IL, Fidel Castro and his familiy all deserve to be destroyed!!

He is playing a political game with other nations. Just because he says something does not mean that is truly what he feels. Remember if you want to be noticed then you have to do something to get peoples attention. Notice how he is playing out the nuclear problem. He knows very well the more he is in the news the better his chances of getting what he wants. He has yet to say just what his objective is. It may very well be to eliminate Israel. I honestly doubt that though.

the jews usurped the term "anti-semitic" so that it means only "anti-jewish."

do what i do: anytime someone uses that word around me, i ask if they are "anti-arab" or why they hate arabs AND jews. i get some real strange looks and answers.

lot more fun that way.

kind of like the term "african-american." i refuse to use in any sense as it has nothing to with peoples of the ******* race, or blacks. it means any person who was born in africa and is now an american citizen.

Ahmadinejad does more than criticize Jews. He has publicly called for the destruction of Israel. Constructive criticism and voicing opinions of dissent are perfectly acceptable. Calling for total annihilation of entire an entire race is not. It doesn't matter what label you place on hate speech, it is still hate.

I cannot really answer your question, one thing I know is that Iranians are not Arabs, they are Persians.

Well, many people have denied their pasts, & just hope no one notices it & points it out!
