Do high/low IQ or EQ mean anything? What do you think?

A healthy person comes from a balance between the two.

Both are important, but it is most important to find a healthy balance between the two. If that's not there you may be too cold, or too emotional. Both will lead you to missing something important in your environment/life.

Both is great, but EQ is much more important in life because we are social animals.

Someone with a low IQ and a high EQ can lead a happy and balanced life.

Someone with a high IQ and a low EQ will be more likely to fail in everything - in his relationships but also in his work because he won't be able to deal with his bosses or colleagues.

EQ is more important I think. I have a really high IQ but struggle in some areas of the EQ department. If you think of EQ as a total score composed of composite scores, I have some really good ones but some really bad ones giving me an average EQ overall.

That being said, your EQ reflects your ability to adapt, grow, and take things as they come. If you think of yourself as a warrior, your EQ is your training and your IQ your weapons.

So it really just depends too. Ninja vs. Uzi-slinging Soldja

My step brother has a really high IQ, but he can't function in everyday life. He can't have a normal conversation, about anything, computers, weather, sports, he just can't communicate with anyone. He can't get married. He can't take care of himself. He is like a grown man, with this really high IQ, but he can't function in every day life like a 9-year-old. I would rather be me than him. He can pass a test, but he just can't live life. I feel so sorry for him.
