Have a kid wen you are 20 years old is it to premature to have a kid for a guy?

I am only 19 about to turn 20 and think that I have akid with my gurl friends. It is not a reason for us to move in / get married, it is not a reason to do it but one more thing, would it be too early age, she is only 18??

Curious1 has a great answer. Parenting is scary at any age. You have a little time to get ready, so use it well.

Try reading, or at least skimming "What to Expect for Infants" and Toddlers.

Get your money situation as stable as possible. If you are in college, stay there. It will improve your life later on.

Try your best to build a family support network, her parents, yours, aunts, cousins etc. The more support you have the better for you and the child.

If you both prepare and take this very seriously then you can be very good parents. If you both decide to give the baby up for adoption, there are many options and you may be able to choose the adoptive parents.

No matter what you choose, your life is already more complicated. Take your time and good luck to all of you.

Did you say you have a kid already? If so you should have thought about all of this before having sex. But if she is already pregnant with your child, then it is time for you to grow up and take responsibility. Soon there will be a person in this world who needs a daddy. What kind of father are you going to be?

If your girlfriend is pregnant the most important thing is being a dad to the baby whether you move in together or not. Time to grow up and put the baby first. Whatever you ask should be answered with "is it best for teh baby?"

It depends on how mature you are. Have you finished High School, what were your grades like? ARe you working? How much money do you make? Can you afford to take care of a wife and child on your salary? Things to think about.
