Question:
Why do so many people turn issues into race when they have nothing to do with race?

I'm curious. An example. There was an article about people being upset over black being being cast in the Hunger Games, when in the books they are dark. Many more examples....baby killers....turn into race issues when white and black men AND women have done it. Any insights?

People always jump to conclusions and make ridiculous assumptions when they don't know how to explain things.

Because race is still a big issue depending on the part of the world that you are in. I'm not sure if your are from/in America but in the USA race plays a major part in subtle ways. For instance, our current President who has done more change for this country in regards to health care, education, foreign issues, restoring relationships with our allies and among other things then any other previous president one especially our last one has been faced with more resistance, slander, undeserved hatred than any other.

When people don't really know how to explain things just go after the evident, which in most occasions is wrong. It is an easy thing to blame things on such things as race when the world still apart for that matter. While there still racist people, those kind of answers will keep showing up
