Severe Social Anxiety. There is also one where you have strange emotional responses to events, like laughing at something that should be a serious moment.

Christianity teaches abstinence and fidelity in marriage. If both of these were followed, then AIDS could be gone within 2 generations. Christianity teaches to give to the poor, to help and love your neighbor. There are already religious organizations, just not Christian, who are there trying to help the poor in many different ways. If people loved and helped their neighbor, there would be no ethnic strife like in Nigeria, where the Muslims and Christians, who are both acting in ways contrary to the teachings of their religion would cease. This would also cross tribal problems. The teachings of Christianity could help, so religion could contribute to solving fundamental social problems to individuals in Africa. The problem arises when people have not accepted these teachings and live in ways contradictory to these teachings. The reason the Catholic church, which I am not a member of, opposes condoms being passed out is because they think it promotes promiscuity. Condoms do not always work, but abstinence does. Another problem that arises is that some people who claim to be religious do not live according to the things they teach and drive people to choose to reject what is good for them because of the bad they do.

Found an excellent list. Here's one example:

Diogenes syndrome is a condition characterised by extreme self neglect, reclusive tendencies, and compulsive hoarding, sometimes of animals. It is found mainly in old people and is associated with senile breakdown.

Not all of them would be considered a social problem per se. So be careful.
